ATMT is 'Awareness Through Mosque Tour'. It is one of the most effective da'wah method employed by IPSI since it's early days. It has become a daily routine for IPSI to provide free mosque tour to tourists at Masjid Kapitan Kling, Pulau Pinang. Masjid Kapitan Kling is one of the heritage building in Penang gazetted by UNESCO. With the status given, the mosque opens its doors to thousands of tourists from all over the world to visit the mosque. Most of them are not-yet-Muslims. IPSI take the opportunity to spread the message of Islam while giving free tours to the tourists.

Many have come to visit the mosque with various perception about Islam. Some of them come without any prior knowledge about Islam. All praises be to Allah, with ATMT, the message of Islam has reached many. Most of them walk out of the mosque with at least a little bit of knowledge about Islam. This opportunity also taken by IPSI to clear misconception about Islam through Q&A sessions in every tour.

IPSI encourages the ATMT to be implemented in every mosque in the world.

Masjid Bukit Bendera

georgetown, penang

Penang Hill Mosque, or Masjid Bukit Bendera, is the only mosque on Penang Hill. Erected for use by Muslims living and working on the Hill, the mosque is located at a short distance from the Hindu Temple. The majority of users of the mosque are those working at the stalls near the Penang Hill Railway Station, government servants working on Penang Hill The Penang Hill Mosque brings a touch of Islamic architecture to the otherwise colonial-style buildings on the Hill. Its minarets and domes stand in stark contrast to the surroundings, balanced only by the existence of the Hindu temple nearby.
